About Super Clinics

Super Clinics are an agreement between the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development Canada and Bissell Centre in partnership with E4C and the Institute of the Advancement of Aboriginal Women (IAAW).

The Super Clinic model is an innovative approach to eliminating barriers for people trying to access services by providing multiple basic financial supports in one place at one time and at no cost.

Services may include: income tax filing, assistance to apply for government benefits, access to ID and Social Insurance numbers, opening bank accounts, setting up a Registered Education Saving Plan (RESP) and accessing the Canadian Learning Bond (CLB). By combining these services and bringing them to the spaces that our target populations already access, we can reduce and eliminate barriers.
