Outreach Housing Team
The sole purpose of the Outreach Housing Team is to locate, engage, and house people who are homeless. Consisting of seven outreach workers, the team will work in under-serviced and unreached areas of the city where homeless people congregate.

Mental Health Services
Our Mental Health support staff members work with individuals who have mental health concerns, and often concurrent addictions issues, who do not have appropriate supports to address their daily living needs. Our program staff help people to function successfully in the community by reducing the barriers involved in meeting their economic, social and personal needs.

FASD Permanent Supportive Housing
Bissell Centre provides permanent supportive housing for people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Bissell staff are on-site to provide around-the-clock support for tenants living in an apartment complex. This is the first such facility in Canada that offers 24 hour support services for people with FASD.

Community Bridge (Eviction Support)
The Community Bridge is a rapid response intervention to stop an eviction. This includes access to no interest loans for delinquent rent, mortgage payments, or utilities. We will work with you to create a repayment plan that includes an amount and schedule that does not create additional hardship for your household.
