What happens when I make an online donation?

Thank you! When you make an online donation, you should receive an email confirming your gift along with a charitable tax receipt. Be sure to check your junk mail. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact us at 780-423-2285 ext.365 or [email protected].

Where does my donation go?

Your gifts will only be used for projects and programs approved by our Board. Once a goal has been met, or if it cannot be completed, any of your remaining contributions will go toward areas of greatest need. We invite you to read our Annual Report, which includes financial information, for more details on how you have made an impact in our community.

I made a mistake on the donation form! How can I cancel the donation?

If you would like to cancel a donation or are having any other difficulties making a transaction, please call 780-423-2285 ext 365 or email [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you.

When do I get my receipt?

Due to Covid-19, we are currently experiencing delays in mailing out tax receipts. Donors who make an online gift will receive an electronic tax receipt right away. Otherwise, one-time donation receipts will be sent out within 3-4 weeks of your gift. Our Community Heroes monthly donors receive consolidated receipts for all the gifts they have made within a calendar year, which are issued before the end of February of the following year.
