Contract until March 31, 2027

How You’ll Make an Impact?

The Caseload Support Worker provides flexible, participant-centered case management to individuals and families transitioning through various stages of housing stability. The position supports participants graduating from Intensive Case Management (ICM), individuals exiting rental subsidy programs, and households requiring short-term intervention to maintain or regain housing stability.

Working within a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and harm reduction framework, the Caseload Support Worker assesses participant needs and determines the most appropriate level of support. Through ongoing assessment, the worker provides direct case management, employment and financial stability planning, eviction prevention, rehousing assistance, and system navigation while identifying participants who require re-entry into more intensive case management supports.

In addition to participant case management, the Caseload Support Worker provides operational support across Housing Services through vacation coverage, temporary caseload management, and assistance with program priorities to ensure continuity of service delivery.

  • Manage a diverse caseload of participants requiring housing stabilization, follow-up support, and transition planning.
  • Complete comprehensive participant assessments to determine housing stability, risk factors, and ongoing service needs.
  • Triage participants in a graduate program to determine whether they can successfully transition to lower intensity supports or require continued intensive case management.
  • Monitor participant progress and recommend re-entry into ICM or other specialized housing programs when increased support is required.
  • Develop individualized service plans that promote participant independence, housing stability, and long-term success.

What You’ll Bring?

  • Degree or Diploma in Social Work, Human Services, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience providing case management within housing, homelessness, or community-based human services.
  • Experience working within an intensive case management program is considered an asset.
  • Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License, satisfactory driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle.
