Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Wage$30.00/hour.

How You’ll Make an Impact?

Reporting to the Manager, Housing Services, the Team Lead provides day-to-day leadership and operational support within a housing and recovery-oriented program. The Team Lead supports frontline staff in delivering consistent, participant-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented services that promote housing stability, wellness, independence, and community connection.

The Team Lead provides direct supervision, coaching, and guidance to staff and supports the coordination of daily program operations, participant services, and responses to complex or emerging situations. The position ensures staff practices, documentation, and service delivery align with organizational policies, program expectations, funder requirements, and established standards of practice.

Working closely with the Manager, the Team Lead supports a safe, respectful, and recovery-oriented environment for participants and staff. The position contributes to individualized service planning, effective team communication, incident response, quality improvement, and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure participants have access to appropriate supports and resources throughout their recovery journey.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to frontline staff in the delivery of housing and recovery-oriented services.
  • Support consistent implementation of participant-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented practices.
  • Coordinate daily activities and service delivery to ensure participant needs, program priorities, and operational requirements are effectively addressed.
  • Support staff in developing and implementing individualized service and recovery plans.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to staff when responding to complex participant situations, emerging concerns, and changing support needs.
  • Promote approaches that support housing stability, recovery, wellness, like-skills development, independence, and meaningful community connection.

 

What You’ll Bring?

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of extensive employment experience in similar fields
  • Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, result oriented, applied time management, strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to ensure quality services and program development.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrate competency in computer systems (Word, Excel, and database programs).
  • Experience working with high-risk populations and an understanding of Indigenous cultures, history and current issues.
