Help put a smile on a child’s face and purchase a Smile Cookie

Bissell Centre has been selected as the feature Smile Cookie charity for Edmonton and area Tim Hortons locations from April 29 to May 5, 2024.

With each Smile Cookie you buy, 100% of the proceeds go to Bissell Centre and support Bissell’s Childcare and Family Supports for children in Edmonton.

You can show your support by stopping into your nearest Tim Hortons and buying a cookie, ordering them online or even pre-ordering enough for your whole office or other big group using their online form – just remember to submit it 48 hours before you plan to snack!

About Bissell’s Child and Family Supports

Proceeds from the Smile Cookies will go towards Bissell’s Child and Family Supports, which provides both full-time and respite care for children ages 0-6.

We serve over 200 children annually incorporating the “learning through play” model to assist in developing children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and cultural growth.

Bissell Centre has seen an uptick in the number of families struggling with the recent rise in the cost of
living. These funds will be used to offset the daycare costs for families experiencing poverty so caregivers can continue to work and support their families and to supplement donations, so we always have enough diapers, formula, and clothing for children and families in our programs.

Our Early Childhood Development Program is designed to foster improved early childhood development outcomes so Edmonton children can get the best possible start in life.
