Casual (Day) Labour
Registered Bissell Centre community members seeking short-term employment can access our Casual Labour program, where Bissell Centre connects them with employers through a variety of job placement opportunities.
Typically, workers are paid by direct deposit bi-weekly. Individuals referred to employers are provided with a healthy bagged lunch and basic safety equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and coveralls when available. Highly motivated workers are often offered longer-term or permanent employment.
In order to participate, you must be registered with Bissell Centre’s Employment Services Program.
